Mélodie Melak
Mélodie loves turning ideas into reality. Originally from France, she’s a trained carpenter and CNC specialist, certified by the Berlin HWK (Chamber of Crafts). With over 20 years of experience in cultural projects, hands-on making, and everything from sewing her own clothes to building custom furniture, she bridges creativity and technical know-how. Mélodie believes that making should be accessible, fun, and high-quality — and she’s bringing all that energy into our Maker Space.
Brian Kiel
Brian loves making things work — whether it’s a 3D printer he built from scratch, a precision part on a 5-axis CNC, or a modular synth in his electronics lab. Originally from the US and now based in Berlin, he’s a certified CNC specialist (HWK Dresden) and a pro at everything from Fusion 360 to fine-tuning machines down to 0.005 mm. With a background in education, tech startups, and hands-on manufacturing, Brian’s all about combining top-level tech with real-world skills. He’s bringing his passion for precision, creativity, and sustainable making to our Maker Space.
